Events & Training

Our educational programs and resources are designed to build awareness of what fair housing is and its importance to our communities. Typically, the training we offer is geared toward housing professionals or members of the public. In the case of training for housing professionals, our goal is to ensure compliance with and to impart best practices for meeting the responsibilities outlined by fair housing law. For members of our communities who are not housing professionals, our goal is to provide the understanding of one’s fair housing rights and how to identify discrimination.

Please call our office at (269) 276-9100 to connect with the Education and Outreach staff to discuss your fair housing training needs.

We offer:

  • General information sessions/presentations

  • Keynote and panel presentations on fair housing and its role in the community

  • Technical training on fair housing laws and practices

  • One-on-one technical support via phone or email

  • Fact sheets/guides, training resources, best practice information and more on our website
